Role: HVAC Service Technician Lead

Key Responsibilities

Independently diagnose residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps, identifying issues quickly and accurately.

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems using professional diagnostic tools and proven service methods.

Perform repairs, system adjustments, and preventative maintenance that restore performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every call through clear communication, professionalism, and high-quality workmanship.

Educate homeowners on system condition and confidently present repair, upgrade, or improvement options that help them make informed decisions.

Identify opportunities to improve comfort, air quality, and efficiency through solutions such as maintenance plans, indoor air quality products, and system upgrades.

Consistently contribute to company growth through honest, customer-focused recommendations and value-driven upsells.

Recognize when systems are nearing replacement and coordinate with Comfort Advisors to ensure homeowners receive the best long-term solution.

Maintain accurate service notes and documentation while operating safely and professionally in the field.

Demonstrate leadership potential by contributing to service standards, supporting team development, and helping build the future technician team.
Qualifications

Proven experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems

Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical components

Ability to work independently in the field

Strong communication skills with homeowners

Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to recommend beneficial system improvements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

EPA Certification preferred
